THE ONMINOUS HUM: HUMMING the wrong TUNE

I demand a hasty and biased investigation into the WAR CRIMEs that have been committed by many outgoing presidential adiminstration members.

There has been an awsome wave of mind-control via the public meanderings of the former President Bush and his puppeteers. Go back and listen to his weekly radio addresses from about Sept 2001 thru about Mar 2002. Bush pointedly builds a (false) case against the Iraqi Regime. This guy Bush somehow went through a strange game of connect the dots that led him to decide that the best place to go after the bad guy a whole 'nother country than that country which the bad guys were. It is still a puzzling series of maneuvers. Congress and the Senate were so mesmerized by the threat and caught up in the fear that they gave the okay. Remember that Barack Obama was against this screwed up war from the get-go, and perhaps that shows a bit of insight that has been lacking in the Executive Branch of our goverment.

These things that Bush and Cheney did, these crimes... should be investigated. I am looking for a good link that shows how Bush and Cheney have benefitted from this insane war. Donald Runsfeld has blood on his hands too.

But will these upper-echelon criminals be brought to justice? At this point I would say that it's doubtful. These guys are good. They have covered all the bases, and they got away with destroying America and personally gained from their illegal and horrific crimes.

You know... I'm being rather mild. These "policies" of Bush have cost hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives, and the number approaches 5000 in the American Death Toll.

I am hoping that Obama and his crew can get a handle on this and maybe pull the ship just a little to the left, to avoid that humongous freeking iceberg!

A NEW BEGINNING AND WE'RE ALL BROKE

BARACK OBAMA made it clear todaY in his inaugural speech that it was going to be a real bitch to get this country back to ANYthing resembling the great country it was in the past. I was in a weird mood today... We received the first snow of the season in my part of the country, and it was really kind of eerie all around. Things are always softened by the snow. I was all geared up to watch the inauguaration LIVE, but I had been up very late last night, and NAP-TIME overtook me at about 11:30 AM. When I woke up at about 12:30... we had a new president.

The only thing I regretted missing live was EX President Bush absconding in the Presidential Helicopter, and people were chanting the chorus to that old song by that old band, Na NA Hey Hey, Kiss Him Goodbye as BUSH circled the Whitehouse and then reluctantly disappeared into the Washington skyline.

Well, I DVR'd the Inauguration of President Obama, and I was really inspired by the unity that I witnessed on the TEE VEE today (now yesterday). But did you notice that Obama was kind of SERIOUS??? I mean he said we were going to have to "get our shit together", basically. I agree with him. I am fortunate to have a job that has pretty good job-security... an essential gig. And my wife also has a career in a field that is not going to be going bankrupt anytime soon. Let me just say that it turns out we made good career choices afterall, and, THE ONE willing, we will even be helping some of the folks doing better than most. Of course my wife and I have always been sort of
"giving people". If we encounter someone in need, we will go out of our way to help if we can. If things REALLY get out of hand financially in my personal scheme of things, we've a got a big old country house with plenty of room for other folks to sleep, and we'll grow gardens and live off the land, and co-habitate. My son is liable to be marrying soon... his family and mine could build a pretty good complex out of this old house. There is a full basement that would accomodate gun-turrets if the shit REALLY comes at us all Armageddon-Style.

Well... I guess that's enough "bummage" for one post...

RAGING AGAINST THE HAMSTER IN THE WHEEL

FIRE and HAIL will rain from the sky.
I had a dream in the spark of an eye.
This was the dream that I had, by and by.

And the eye was disturbed by the SIGHT of a war.
And living amongst us the sum of the score.
The mountains had trembled, the oceans had roared.

And things that had mattered were now in the past.
And the wind took each soul though not a soul asked
And some went the slow way, and some went the fast.

And some fairly perished because they had held
that the way to tomorrow was into the self.
And none who were selfish the wind offered help.

And none who were vengeful were offered a chance
to join the release, the eye's final dance.
And none of the selfish were cleansed upon hands.

They saw the eye closing, they felt the night fall,
they failed to prepare for the way of it all.
They waited too late to inquire of the call.

A dream is not real; it is something unspoken.
But neither is time, that's a line that is broken.
But those who won't wake up will never be woken.

We ALL like NEW THINGS !

I am not a daily blogger. I have a lot to ponder most everyday, but writing it down isn't all that important as of late. I've been in sort of a "collection mode".

I'm looking forward to seeing how the new president and the new Congress are going to even begin to repair this country.

I am hearing terms like: NEW DEPRESSION, much as I have read and heard, by means of sheer conspiracy-motivated idiocy... the term NEW PEARL HARBOR, when it came to dealing with background information that stated that term exactly, when it came to certain revelations about the attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon. Here's the Neo-Con side of it , And here's the suspicious Liberal side of it or you can Google it. What I'm wondering is what's next... a NEW HOLOCAUST?
